Pricing

We know it’s frustrating that there isn’t always a straightforward answer to how much a video will cost. But the boring reality is that there are a lot of variables when it comes to video production.

Industry prices vary, from super-cheap solo operators to huge indie production houses. We’re somewhere in the middle - based on our wealth of industry experience and journalistic pedigree, offset by our small (but perfectly formed) team of staffers which keeps costs down.

Very few of our projects come in at less than £3k. Many come in a lot higher, of course - we’ve had budgets up to £100k - but all of them were costed using the same three main questions:

  • How many shoot days are required?

  • How long will it take to edit?

  • How much creative support do you want/need?

Of course there are also multiple additional factors we take into account - and our attention to detail on this means we always quote fairly and accurately for the job in hand.

For example, will it involve an afternoon of filming, or a week? Are we shooting in an office in London, or on a beach in the Maldives (yes please)? Do you need one camera or five? Do we need a hair and make-up artist? Would you like drone footage? Does it involve motion graphics? Do we need to commission a bespoke music track? Are we factoring in a studio and props?

The reality is that this is one of those situations where even the briefest initial conversation will make the world an infinitely easier place for everyone - so please do get in touch. It will only take a few minutes for us to give you a sense of whether your rough idea matches the depth of your pockets.

And please don’t be afraid to put a ballpark or range of budget into your content brief. It will help us to focus on a creative response that is affordable for you and achievable by us. We can often give you a few options at different price points within an established range, which will help you decide the approach that’s best overall.

We know video is an investment, but it’s one that’s proven to work, time and time again - and we’ve always delivered value for money.
